Install & first run

  1. Run the installer. Download Setup.exe above and run it. No Node.js or npm required — the Desktop app is self-contained.
  2. First launch. The first launch can take a few seconds while the app finishes starting up. If it doesn't come up, you'll see a retry/diagnose option instead of a blank screen.
  3. Connect an AI provider. The app runs without Node/npm, but it still needs an AI provider account connected (Claude, GPT, etc.) before it can answer anything — connecting an AI account is a separate step from installing the app.
